I have been with aviation consultancy Helios (part of Egis’ Aviation Business Unit) for more than five years, the last four of them based in the Middle East.
In that time, I have been able to bring my background in Operational Research and Process Engineering and previous experience advising and supporting airports and airlines to help deliver improvement and innovation projects in the UK and across the Middle East region. These projects have covered the aviation domain from end-to-end including airspace design; feasibility studies and master planning regarding improvements to existing airports as well as for new airports; supporting the opening of new facilities through ORAT from both the airport and airline perspective; and, improving day-to-day operations to benefit both passengers and airport operational companies. Each project has had its own unique set of requirements and involved multiple stakeholders with specific needs (not always core to the project).
