Laurent Germain, CEO of Egis, appointed chairman of the MEDEF International France-Saudi Arabia Business Council

Under the auspices of the France-Saudi Arabia Business Council, MEDEF International, the leading French private sector business network operating worldwide, conducts collective initiatives to promote French solutions to the Saudi market.

“It is a great honour for me to have been be appointed as Chairman and I will represent the French business community, through MEDEF International, with conviction and enthusiasm. I am keen to maintain the excellent trade relations we have with Saudi Arabia, in particular with regard to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 investment programme,” commented Laurent Germain.

Laurent Germain began his career at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. In 2004, he became Adviser to the Minister for Research, Mr. François d’Aubert, in charge of budgetary affairs. In 2005 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the French National Centre of Space Studies (CNES). He also chaired the board of CLS, a subsidiary of CNES. In 2014 he joined Segula Technologies, a global engineering and technology consulting group, as CEO. He has been CEO of Egis since July 2020.

A former student of Sciences Po Paris, Laurent Germain holds degrees from the ESSEC business school and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (2000 cohort).
